I will also have copies of the book available at my booth at the Halstead Arts and Crafts Fair on October 15th at Halstead High School.

My second book – Harvey County Schools Vol. 1 is available now at the Harvey County Indpendent and the Hesston Record offices.  They are $22.99 ($24.89 with tax).   Stop by and get your copy or call 316-835-2235 to order.  If you live in the Sedgwick Area – I will deliver yours at no extra charge (just tell the person on the phone you want Kelley to deliver your copy).

The first volume of stories about Harvey County’s country schools will be available in August.   The book will include stories of 12 schoolhouses accompanied by old and new black and white photography.  Order forms will be available in the Harvey County Independent.  If you do not get the Independent and are interested in ordering a copy you can e-mail me at kelley@hcindependent.com.

The book “Harvey County Barns” with all 14 barn stories that were published in the Harvey County Independent this past winter and spring will be available at the end of November.  The book includes all 14 stories plus lots of extra full color pictures.  Order forms are in this week’s Indpendent.
